It has been awhile since I have posted. Life has been hectic and crazy. Between getting ready for my sister's wedding (9 days and counting) and starting to plan Hunter's 1st birthday party (can you believe he is already going to be one in a month??) and just life in general, this mama does not get much time to herself, let alone enough time to post a blog, haha :) But I do want it to become more of a habit for me because I want to leave a record for my children. A journal of sorts of my feelings and things we did as a family. As I contemplate this I am overly thankful for the wonderful family the Lord has put me in. I am so thankful that Hunter has cousins that he will grow up with and have a companion at all our family functions. I am grateful because I know how fortunate I was to have cousins that I grew up with and am still close with today. Below are some pics of Hunter and his cousins :) Enjoy all the cuteness!!
Rykers Birthday
Ryker is my cousin Shawn and his wife Saede's 2nd child. He was born exactly 3 months before Hunter. I can't wait for them to be a tad older and be able to play with each other and run around together. In February we celebrated Ryker's First Birthday. He had a Monsters Inc themed birthday complete with a bounce house and photo area. We had so much fun and Hunter had fun in the bounce house and taking silly pictures with his other cousins and Mama. Can't wait for Hunter's birthday and all the fun we are going to have!!
Cousin Visit with Gracie and Addie
So as I have mentioned in the past, I am very close to my cousin Tanya. If you haven't heard the story about our birthdays ask me sometime (its pretty crazy). Anywho, ever since I can remember we couldn't wait for the day when we both had children and hoped they would be as close as we are. Although we live far away from each other, we try and make the effort to see each other at least every couple of months so that the kids can see each other. She has twin girls that are exactly one week older than Hunter. Ask about their story too...Its wild. It truly testifies that there is a God and he has a plan for all of us :) It has been such a joy to watch them all grow and be at the same stages. From going to see them when they were 2 months old and all the babies just slept until this past visit when they were crawling, and standing up and really starting to interact with one another. Although Hunter has to be reminded to be nice to the girls often, you can see that they truly like being around one another. I just cannot wait to see what the future holds for all of us and all the fun things we can do with one another.
