The Hosmer Family: September 2013

So I still can't believe our little baby is a year! This year went all to fast. We really wanted to do something fun and special for his big day so we decided to take him to the Happiest Place on Earth, Disneyland. My family also joined us and it was a day filled with lots of laughter and fun. When we woke that morning though we were not sure if we would be going. It was pouring rain. Scott even ran to Target and bought us some ponchos in case we did go and needed some extra protection. But by early morning the rain had subsided enough that we decided to take a risk and go for it. It only rained once more half way through the day for about 20 minutes.

Hunter loved meeting Mickey Mouse, and every other character we came across. He even kissed Mickey right on the nose. It was literally the cutest thing ever. Hunter really liked the rides and the surroundings but I think everything was a little overwhelming and he just kept staring at everything. The one ride he liked the most was It's A Small World. I honestly think its because all the characters in the ride were just his size and look his age :) We ended up spending the whole day at both DCA and Disneyland. It was a long day but oh so worth it. We all had an amazing time and made memories that will last a lifetime.
