Valentine's Day 2012

I love Valentine's Day!! I think its great to have a day to truly show your loved ones how you feel. I know, I know we should always be doing that but sometimes we need a day to remind us just how lucky we are for the people in our lives. So Scott and I decided we weren't going to do anything to special due to trying to save money for the baby and all the baby things we still need to buy but we still had a great day. I am getting him a shirt that he wants and a card with some Sponge Bob (his favorite) candy. He got me the best thing ever:

Does my husband know me or what?? I cant wait for us to watch it. We also went to Scott's favorite place, Souplantation, for dinner. Not overly romantic but it was a great night. I am just truly blessed to have such wonderful people in my life. Scott is a great husband and really does everything in his power to make sure we are taken care of. He is going to make an amazing father and I am just so excited for all the new things happening in our life. I couldn't imagine sharing these moments with anyone else. I LOVE YOU SCOTT!!

Baby Update - Is He Going To Be a SUPER BABY??

So I went in for the ultrasound my doctor wanted me to have so he could have some new measurements done. He had a feeling we were going to have a "Big" baby, haha. Well the ultrasound tech said he looked completely normal size and that the doctor was just being cautious, whew!! My original due date was May 24th and he is measuring a little early, May 15th now, but she said that as long as its within a 10 day frame from the original due date everything is fine. So maybe we aren't having a SUPER baby after all. Well, he will always be Super in my book, haha. but we will keep you updated with everything that goes on. We are just so excited for him to be here. I think we might go register in the next few weeks for the baby shower, so that is super exciting :) Here's the ultrasound pic from my latest ultrasound:

Weekend of FUN

So this past weekend we had so much fun. On Friday, I took a half day from work and went down to my cousin Tanya's house for a shopping spree and to see Chorus Line at a dinner theatre. Shopping was so much fun and we got some killer deals at Burlington Coat Factory. I got the cutest onesie's for our little one. The dinner theatre was ok. The food was excellent (who knew I liked chicken wellington) haha. The show on the other hand was so-so. We went with my Aunt Kandy, Aunt Lori, and Cousin Winter. Spending time with family was the most fun :) It was so nice to spend some time with Tanya. We know we are not going to be able to do this quite as often once the babies come so we cherish all the time now. On Saturday, I went to see Kelly try on some wedding dresses. She of course looked beautiful. I don't know if she found "the one" yet but she found some contenders, haha. I'm just so proud of her and James's decision to get married in the temple. It truly is the greatest blessing to know that you are sealed to your spouse for all time and eternity. On Saturday night, we met up with our good friends Danielle and KC for some Starbucks. We hadn't seen them in quite a long time so it was so nice to catch up. On Sunday, we did the usual dinner at my parents and laundry. We always have so much fun being around family. They are such a blessing to us. I've attached some pics of my cousin and me that my Uncle Paul took of us and our growing bellies:

Over The Weekend

So we had a pretty good weekend. We went apartment hunting, trying to find a new place is hard work. The good thing is we think we found the place. We just have to wait and see what happens. Then Scott and I went and spent some time with my cousin Tanya and her husband Tim in Moreno Valley. They just bought a new house and so we went out to see it for the first time. She is also pregnant with twins (due exactly a month after me) and it was the first time I had seen her since Thanksgiving, so I couldn't wait to see how big her belly has grown. She is getting a belly and it is super cute. I think I was a little bigger but that's OK. I'm sure she will catch up, haha.We had dinner and watched a movie and just caught up with everything going on. It got late so we decided to stay in their guest room and went to breakfast/lunch the next morning. We had such good time and can't wait to go back. After we got home we went and spent some time at my parents house to do laundry and watch the Super Bowl. We always have a good time at my parents house and upside GIANTS WON!! We really aren't Giants fans but we don't like the Patriots so we were happy. Here are some cute pics of my cousin and me:

***Although Tuesday is not considered the weekend, I wanted to give everyone a baby update. I went to the doctor on Tuesday, and as he was measuring me he informed me that we are probably going to be having a big baby, haha. It made me laugh. I have to go in for an ultrasound this coming Tuesday to see how big he is right now. I think they may think I am further along than I am, so he may come sooner than we think :) The doctor did say he had a good heartbeat, which always makes me feel good. May can't come soon enough!!

Dear Silence Show

On January 30th Dear Silence, Scotts band had their first show in over a year and with there new singer Brooke. They have been practicing for many months and they did awesome. Scott plays the bass and he looked so good up on that stage. I was so proud of him. They played at this small bar in LA called the Airliner. I was a little worried about going at first because of some of the stories I had heard about this place but it was much nicer than I had anticipated. They went on at about 945pm, we were very tired the next day when we had to go to work. They all did a great job and played a great show, even amongst some drama that happened (ask Scott or Mandy if you want the details). Cant wait for the next one on February 13th in Long Beach. Check out there facebook page if you are interested:

Here's some pics from the night:
