Hunter Update - 5 months

So another month has come and gone in the life of Hunter James Hosmer. Every month I cannot believe that we have lived with Hunter for another month. Its amazing how time flies by. I guess the saying is right that "Time flies when you are having fun!!" He is just a bundle of joy always smiling and laughing. Now do not begin to think he is perfect because he does have his meltdowns, although Nana would disagree :) Just today I went to feed him his cereal and he was not ready and just cried so I had to just give him his bottle. It was so weird because the boy loves eating, especially his cereal. He cannot wait to eat more things. The doctor said today we can begin him on vegetables and then work our way to fruit. He is going to be one happy baby!! 

We went to the doctor today for another weight check and he is up to 14 lbs and 3 ounces, which is up 1 lb 5 ounces from his last checkup 2 weeks ago. The doctor said he is doing great and to keep doing what we are doing. We go back in November for his 6 month wellness check. Yay no more weight checks but can you believe he will be 6 months, that's half a year :) He just brings so much love and happiness to our lives. I can't even imagine not having him here. 

Hunter is also starting to sit up, although still assisted I do not think it will be much longer until we have a sitter on our hands. He is constantly trying to pull himself up and sit up on his own. He is starting to be a big boy. Scott and I just have so much fun playing with him now. His coos and laughter just make our day when we get home from a long day at work. We try to have a little family time every evening where we just spend time with one another. Scott and I have just been working and enjoying being parents. When we look at where we were just a year ago, we are amazed at how much our lives have changed. Although there are times we miss just picking up and going, we wouldn't change it for the world. This Saturday we are having some fall pics done of Hunter in his Halloween costume with my cousin Winter. Cant wait to see how they turn out and of course i will post some when i get them.

Hunter Likes:

• Playing after bath time in just his diaper (what is it about babies wanting to be naked?? haha)
• Eating his fruit flavored rice cereal (he just gobbles it up)
• Snuggling with mama and daddy when he wakes up in the middle of the night (now I know I shouldn't do this, but when he wakes up really early in the morning I will lay him in bed with us and he falls right back to sleep. He just snuggles up to me and it just melts my heart)

Hunter Does Not Like:

• When you make the bottle slow (when he wants to eat, he wants to eat haha)
